Park Derochie is supporting the 2014 MS Bike tour with the PD Slow Riders. The team will be undertaking a two day journey from Leduc to Camrose and back, riding close to 200 kilometers each. On June 7 & 8, 2014, participants of all ages and fitness levels will join together to raise money for Canadians living with Multiple Sclerosis.
There are more than 100,000 Canadians living with MS and three additional people are diagnosed each day. Money raised by the MS Bike tour is used to support research and provide services to these individuals.
The PD Slow Riders team, made up of people from Edmonton and area, including some of our very own Park Derochie employees, are working together to raise at least $25,000 for this great cause. As of Friday, April 12 they have raised $6,545.
